Branch Manager for Banking Institution recruitment
The Deputy - Branch Manager is responsible for the administration and efficient daily operation of a full service branch office, including operations, lending, product sales, customer service, and security and safety in accordance with the Bank's objectives. Responsible to promote the sales and service process and achieve sales goals; provides a superior level of customer relations; Participates in community affairs to increase the Bank's visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities.
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to):
- Supervison and control of the sales process for goods and services;
- Evaluating weekly or monthly sales data and report sales results to bank management;
- Managing customer relationships and supervising branch employees;
- Approving accounts, deposits and loans for business and retail customers;
- Evaluating branch office income and expenses;
- Recommending new loan opportunities or customer relationships to the board of directors;
- Planning and developing policies and procedures to carry out management directives;
- Contacting customers and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business opportunities;
- Preparing financial and regulatory reports as required by the board of directors, the state and banking regulatory agencies;
- Interviewing and hiring branch employees;
Experience – Three to five years in corporate banking or financial services industry
Special Skills and Personality Traits – Knowledge of banking and consumer protection regulations, good knowledge and experience with FSA regulations and supervision, consumer and small business lending; willingness to meet sales goals; good computer skills;
