Locations for this postion are San Francisco, Minneapolis, or flexible with East Coast locations. Responsible for managing and supporting all brand management programs which includes the brand standards, Brand Central, and developing key brand assets: icons, imagery, design templates. Will conduct brand workshops for the marketing community and support the Brand Stewards and Brand Education programs. Will be required to build and maintain effective business relationships with all key in-house creative/marketing teams and their design agencies. Provide brand counsel and art direction across all mediums. : Provide brand counsel and art direction for all mediums including advertising, online, plastics, social media, photography, stationery, merchandise, DM, event materials, signage and ATM. Will conduct brand reviews for various key marketing programs including period campaigns, diverse segments creative, sponsorships, product campaigns, international materials, co-branding, sales force engagement creative and internal communications. Partner with the lines of business that require brand support. The brand reviews will include art direction along with design concepts. May lead cross-functional teams to develop new standards or evolve existing brand standards. Support management to develop and maintain brand standards, presentations, web assets, templates, imagery, video and initiate new ideas in support of the brand standards. Resolve brand related issues be able to provide rational, clarity and art direction for grey areas or program/LOB nuances. Review conceptual work ensuring early compliance. Ensure that all creative is meeting Wells Fargos approved brand standards. Track brand compliance via reviews, audits and roundtables. Manage one or two direct reports. Provide expectations, tools, training and support career development. Assign projects and provide art direction. Manage brand, design and production vendors track budgets, develop schedules, monitor progress and conduct vendor reviews. Ensure creative vendors are brand certified. Basic Qualifications: 6+ years brand and adverstising experience and 3+ years management experience. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of 6+ years of proven experience developing, implementing and managing corporate branding programs. Art Director or Creative Director experience required. Minimum of five years staff management experience preferably with in a global marketing organization. Thorough understanding of the creative development process which includes design, messaging, web, print and production. Strong people skills ability to negotiate, influence and build consensus and work through difficult situations. Experienced in coaching, goal setting, talent management and development. Ability to be an educator. Thorough understanding of developing and managing all branding tools including standards, workshops, web site. Demonstrated ability to be highly effective at influence management and working in a highly matrixed organizational structure. Experienced in project, budget and vendor management.
