Brand Manager Reinvention Job in Chicago

The Brand Manager Reinvention brings a passion for reinvention to the Below Premium portfolio (and other brands as indicated).  Working with ISC as a key partner in Remington, reinvention brand manager works to identify and drive relevant, compelling innovations to promote and change the game for competitive advantage, while reducing costs. On a small portfolio of brands, the brand manager works within overall brand strategy and positioning for brands, ensures the strategic integrity within total brand portfolio, and within the beer category.

This position is responsible for delivery against the brand's strategic, volumetric and financial goals annually. Leads and directs external and internal resources through the value chain to deliver on strategic intent. Responsible for integration into broader organization ensuring integrity of marketing programming and messaging from conception through execution links highly with brand positioning, while retaining the ability to react to competitor and market conditions.  

Areas of Responsibility Include:

Strategy/Positioning - 
*Links innovations to brand strategies/positioning.
Comfortable with setting pricing strategies aligned with brand role
Cost Saving Innovation -
*Identifies opportunities to reduce COGS on brands
*Works (with brand owner) to develop, test and implement innovation
*Works with ISC to optimize costs and complexity while optimizing value gained
*Develops business case and moves through Remington process

Planning -
*Brand Analysis
*Ensures effective integration of brand plan /activities with other Company functional areas
*Resource allocation
*Financial planning for assigned brands
*Leads brands’ annual planning process

People Management -
*Attracts, leads, manages, and mentors employees in such a way to ensure retention, development, and superior performance of talent

Communication -
*Understand brand strategies and apply them to the development of cost savings innovations and selling stories that inspire.
*Lead communication with leadership and brand owners to test and sell in changes

Brand Performance -
*Achieve profit targets

Partnership Management -
*Integration and collaboration with internal and external partners, especially ISC, insight and packaging, finance

Project Management and program execution -
*Manage and coordinate the development of COGS savings programs, creative and other elements of the marketing mix
