Broker Transfer Specialist
Curian Clearing LLC has an opening for a Broker Transfer Specialist. Curian Clearing provides clearance and settlement services for Curian Capital's clients and investors, including trade execution, new account opening, check deposits, withdrawals, and account transfers. Curian Capital is a registered investment advisor that provides fee-based investment advisory solutions for financial professionals.

Job Purpose
Processes asset transfers by means of ACATS and non-ACATS systems. Ensures incoming requests are in good order for processing and contacts financial advisor if additional information is needed.
Essential Job Duties Responsibilities
- Processes incoming and outgoing transfers of client assets via ACATS or non-ACATS procedures. Verifies that accounts are opened and assures that documentation is complete before processing transfers.
- Initiates follow up calls and provides status updates to client financial advisor, Curian Care and wholesalers as required.
- Answers questions received via e-mail queue within standard timeframes.
- May contact contra firms to confirm receipt and delivery of assets.
- Reviews department transaction forms to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Ability to understand basic financial transactions.

- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Must be detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize a large volume of work.
- Good data entry skills.
Education and Experience Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years experience.
