BU Finance Manager recruitment
A leading integrated communications company, Headquartered in the UAE, is currently on the lookout for a Business Unit Finance Manager for its technology division. This is an incredibly exciting role within a business that has grown exponentially over the past 6 years, increasingly biting chunks out of its competitors market share. The role in question will have a heavy emphasis on FPA, Budgeting, Reporting, and Forecasting, and as such a candidate with a similar background will be most suitable.
Reporting into the Finance Director for the Business Unit, the purpose of the role is to support the BU in ensuring informed decisions are taken to allow optimization of resources, and also maximization of shareholder value. This will be achieved by focussing on key areas such as Budgeting and Forecasting, Reporting, Financial Control, Investment Appraisal, and Process Improvements. Given all of this, suitable candidates will possess a leading accountancy qualification (CMA/CA/CPA) and bring to the table 5-8 years experience in a Telco/IT environment, having operated in positions with a focus on FPA, Forecasting, and Reporting. Candidates with an MBA qualification will be advantageous to the business, and a background with the Big 4, or an ability demonstrate solid technical finance skills will be preferred. Those candidates with experience in IT/Network security will be looked on with high regard.
