Summary: Responsible for the performance of technical and administrative support functions on client assignments or other specific business related projects under the direction of the Account Executive, Project Manager and/or Consultant, Health and Welfare. Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely under the direction of more senior staff on project assignments. Compile client data and summarize in usable format. Handle routine administrative functions, such as vendor follow up, assist with client administrative issues. Perform financial review of premiums/claims experience. Review vendor contracts and documents to ensure compliance with requirements. Develop benefit comparisons. Assist with claims payor audit functions. Assist with regulatory compliance filings. Develop broader understanding of benefit programs and operations. Participate in special projects or assignments as instructed by supervisor. Attain billable hours objective (apply acquired skills in client-productive ways). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Will consider both Health/Benefits and Actuarial backgrounds. Bachelor ??s Degree preferred. 0 to 1 years of total related experience. Proven track record academically. Extracurricular activities a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills. Good computer skills. Self-starter and good problem solving skills. Good listening skills and able to take direction well. Communicative and takes initiative. Good organizational skills. Good mathematical skills. Ability to work on a team.
