The Business

Bloomberg has created a new web-based information product, Bloomberg Government (BGOV), that will identify, analyze and quantify the impact of government actions on business and industry. BGOV combines data, analytic tools, news, and proprietary analysis in a single, integrated product. This new product is designed for those most affected by government actions, including Congress, the administration, Beltway influencers (lobbyists, associations, etc.), and business leaders (C-suite executives, government sales, government affairs, etc.).

-Analyze the fiscal policy actions of the administration and Congress, including the president's budget at agency and OMB levels, congressional budgeting and appropriations, and government contract awards while closely monitoring relevant events.

-Develop potential policy scenarios and assess the likely impact of each one.

-Work with team to quantify the impact of government actions on business and industry.

-Translate budget actions into plain-English for audiences inside and outside of Washington

-Attend and participate in policy discussions at think tanks and conferences.
