Budgeting and Reporting Division Head

The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate financial and accounting processes are in place for accurate and timely documentation and reporting, in accordance with management requirements, regulatory guidelines, and local and international Financial and Accounting reporting standards.

Responsibilities

? Assist the Chief Financial Officer in the development and implementation of finance strategy.

? Ensure that the division?s plans are within agreed budgets and timescales.

? Oversee monthly, quarterly and yearly MIS reports to ensure accuracy and compliance to management targets and directives.

? Oversee preparation periodic financial, regulatory and ad hoc reports and ensure accuracy and timeliness of the same.

? Oversee budgeting and forecasting, to ensure deployment of the latest budgeting/ forecasting tools and developing budgetary policy/ framework and the related budgetary templates.

? Ensure smooth inflow, outflow of documents / data required for effective Management Accounting Budgeting Consolidation, in coordination with respective divisions/departments to obtain all necessary information.

? Oversee budgeting and reporting to ensure adherence to financial control policies and procedures.

? Manage cost allocations and monitor cost accounting across and its projects, in addition to providing support in determination of project costing/ pricing decisions.

? Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to prevailing accounting standards and principles.

? Allocate work to employees, nominate for training as per guidelines, conduct performance reviews and manage leave and overtime of staff to ensure efficiency.

? Supervise direct reportees in their day-to-day tasks and guide them in managing their performance by providing appropriate feedback and counseling. Provide recommendations for hiring and promotions.

Requirements:

? University degree in Business Administration with specialization in Financial Management, and / or Accounting. Professional Certification such as CPA/CA/CFA and/or CMA is preferable.

? About 13-15 years of related experience of which a minimum of 4-7 years should be in a similar position / responsibility, preferably in a similar Industry.
