Budgeting Officer recruitment
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Budgeting, Financial Planning and Strategy department of a large European bank for a Budgeting Analyst. Providing strategic and forward-facing analysis for the bank, you will be an integral part of determining the direction in which the bank moves, whether in headcount across the business, capital expenditure or staff renumeration.
Reporting directly to the Head of Budgeting, you will be involved in institutional and management reporting, CapEx analysis, operating and capital budgeting and will be responsible for running the salary model for mid-year forecasts, as well as participation in budget and expenditure trend analysis.
You will be a graduate with at least a 2.1 in a statistical / numerate discipline (or equivalent). Advanced study of mathematics and experience using SAP would be advantageous. You will have strong Excel skills, ideally with some knowledge of modelling. Knowledge of accruals and experience in double-entry would be advantageous.
