We have an immediate need for a Build Engineer
Job Description:
Our client is looking for an experience Build Engineer for their office in Phoenix, AZ.
Required background
* Knows continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts and how to implement them
* Knows software configuration management (e.g. how to use source control, different branching strategies, approaches to versioning)
* Understands unit testing, integration testing, functional testing
Preferred background
* Candidate can demonstrate specific career focus and interest in build engineering as a discipline (i.e. candidate not simply a general developer who is willing to take on a build engineering position)
Required technical knowledge
* General Java programming
* Subversion (git a bonus)
* Maven (including important plugins like Surefire, Failsafe, Release, etc.)
* JUnit
* Clover, EMMA, Cobertura or closely related
* Bamboo or closely related (e.g. Hudson, Jenkins)
* Artifactory, Nexus, or closely related
Preferred technical knowledge
* Ability to write Maven plugins
* Ability to perform integrations with other build, deploy and test automation systems
