The Role:
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Building Operator to join their team in Burnaby and be a part of the growth of the company. You will be based on one of their high class commercial properties and be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the day to day operations of the building systems. The duties of the Building Operator include but are not limited to:
· Respond to tenant service requests in a timely manner
· Adhere to maintenance priorities
· Perform scheduled maintenance on all building equipment
· Work with various mechanical equipment including: pumps, motors, boilers, chillers, air handling equipment and building automation systems
· Manage third party contractors
· Excellent customer service to all customers
The Candidate:
Applicants for this role must have the following:
· 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering certificate
· 2 to 3 years of commercial operations experience
· Valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operation of a Blackberry
· Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
· Able to work independently, as well as in a team environment
