Build/SCM Engineer with .net development experience Job in Addison 75001, Texas Us
Major Banking Client is looking for a Software Build/SCM Engineer for a contract position in Addison, TX.
Required Technical Skills:
· NET development expertise/Web Applications - 3-4 years of development experience
· .Net automated Build Expertise (MSBuild, scripting)
· Scripting expertise (batch and shell, PERL)
· Source Control expertise (TFS is a plus)
· Soft skills required to lead development, qa, project teams in completing build and deploy activities
.NET development expertise/Web Applications is mandatory. They are really looking for someone who has this experience from an enterprise level company (working with complex or multiple parts).
Need to have coding experience. Will be coding from source code and working to define some of the processes.
They will be working with an automated process, but if they do not have a background or expertise in it, or with scripting, it will be ok as those tools can be taught. Will be working with dashboards and reporting. Some development work will be required.
Daily duties/ responsibilities:
1. Create Software build jobs in BuildForge
2. Create BladeLogic Deployment jobs
3. Handle requests for manual launched deployments
4. Participate in meetings such as testing and production release planning where appropriate.
5. On call rotation for once a month release cycles.
Soft skills needed or preferred:
Ability to work with development teams to onboard to a new build/deployment process.
