Bulge Bracket German Speaking M&A recruitment
A leading European Bulge Bracket Bank is looking to further strengthen its global capabilities with several hires at senior analyst, associate and VP level in their Frankfurt office. The team is already within the top 5 MA rankings in the region and is continuing to maintain its upwards trajectory.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to work with a breadth of products within Corporate Finance in an international, cross-boarder, capacity. The lean structure of the team, combined with the ongoing volume of business, grants this hire a great deal of immediate responsibility and client exposure.
Main Duties
- Generate unbiased, meaningful advice and dialogue with a cross section of companies within the German speaking region
- Originate, execute and provide analysis for deals and cover all types of products (MA, Financing)
- Support senior bankers in client meetings, pitches and sector analysis
Person Requirements
- Strong academic record, with a demonstrably high degree of numerical, verbal and analytical competence (2:1 degree or above 340 UCAS points (AAB) at A level (or equivalent))
- Academic background inclusive of corporate finance, MA, economics and/or mathematics
- Demonstrable work experience from another leading investment bank with a strong set of modelling and valuation skills
- Previous sector experience (from either banking or client side) strongly preferred
- Personable team player, with the ability to gain the confidence and trust of both colleagues and clients with experience in coordinating large teams
- Fluent German (please note candidates who do not speak German at a native, or similar, level will not be considered)
