Responsibilities for Bunker Trader/Operations, Rotterdam, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Energy, oil, Bunker, Europe, Rotterdam, Trading) role:
- Negotiate and purchase bunker fuels from a supplier and sell them to ship owners of charterers. Be able to trade and work independently;
- Be willing to seek new customers through cold calling and business development;
- Be able to report to directly to Head office on a day to day basis of trades done, pending deals;
- Play a supporting role to the Head office in terms of handling relevant trading enquiries from the HO trading team;
- Work closely with agents at various ports for delivery of bunkers to for vessels;
Identify trading opportunities;
- Able to work outside office hours to attend meetings with clients and make regular short business trips.
Skills / Attributes required for Bunker Trader/Operations, Rotterdam, Salary: Highly Competitive, (Energy, oil, Bunker, Europe, Rotterdam, Trading) role:
- Have 2-5 years’ experience in bunker trading with an existing clientele;
- Have a proven sales and trading track record in the sector;
- Candidate preferred to have a postgraduate qualification in:
o Shipping
o Business
o Economics
- Knowledge on both physical paper trading, bunker grades / specification an advantage
