Specific Job Description This position is responsible for managing Capture Excellence and Professional Development for the Corporate Strategy and Business Development organization. The successful candidate must have capture leadership experience and a proven track record shaping and winning new business. Other responsibilities include: 1)Focus Priority Program Assistance: Lead and support a) Strategy-Related Color Team Events (e.g., Black Hats Gold Teams) b)Customer Value Proposition (CVP) Workshops c)Independent Lessons Learned Teams 2)Capture Excellence Training Workshops: Lead and support: a)Delivery of CSBD Institutes (i.e., CNBI CI/PTW Institute) and Capture Leaders Workshop at the CLE. b)Delivery of Capture Management courses at Business Unit sites. c)Refinement and sharing of best practices across the enterprise (e.g., guidelines councils) 3)Professional Development: Lead CSBD Leadership Academy activities and manage the Capture Assist Team (CAT) Program. 4)Competitive Intelligence (CI): Manage the Corporate CI Activities and serve as the sponsor for the LMCI organization. Standard Job Description Manages the evaluation and review of consumer research, point-of-sale and syndicated data. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Insures report findings for major marketing, distribution, and manufacturing proposals and their impact on the sales function are prepared. Oversees the central development and implementation of new products, re-launches, new business building programs, sales rationale, etc. Directs the participation in presales or sales meetings to review proposed plans. Functions as liaison between regional sales and marketing function. May direct and/or initiate sales analysis affecting distribution, spending as it relates to volume, brand promotional strategy, and selling tools.
