About the Job
The Bus Driver provides safe and timely transportation services to designated children enrolled in our program from their homes to the center and from the center to their homes.The Bus Driver is also responsible for transporting children and staff to their field trip destinations and back. Education,Experience and skills required: High School Diploma or equiv.: Must have valid Commercial Driver's License with the Public Service Endorsement from the State of Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles; Must have two years experince transporting people; Must have knowledge of street locations in the Greater Bridgeport area (Towns of Stratford, Trumbull,Monroe, Fairfield and Easton ); Must have ability to relate to others in a positive manner; Good oral and written communication skills are helpful. Ability to speak Spanish is helpful. EOE/AA
