Description

Job Purpose

As part of the Global Financial Systems team, contribute to the leveraging of the existing Finance systems suite (including Peoplesoft, HFM, Blackline) and accomplishment of Finance's re-engineering goals. Act as Administrator for the TM1 system and support the Finance user community in the UK.

The role is based in Manchester but has a reporting line into the Global Financial Systems team in the US

Key Responsibilities

1. Administrator of the TM1 system , ensuring the timing and integrity of the data facilitate the UK Finance community's reporting requirements

2. Managing the business models and TM1 cubes

3 Provide guidance, support and training to users on use of TM1

4. Contribute to key projects including the implementation of the Company's new management reporting tool

5. Develops solutions to critical business issues and presents alternatives to management

6. Communicates project status to sponsors, stakeholders

7. Defines and directs complex data analysis

8. Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.

9. Develop full scale project plans.

10. Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.

11 Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

12. Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.

Qualifications

Technical Skills, Knowledge, Systems Knowledge (and associated skill level)

Graduate calibre

Accounting experience required, Does not have to be a qualified accountant

Preffered

TM1 experience required, including TM1 cube and process building

Strong understanding of OLAP technologies and design, including experience with creating multi-dimensional cubes

Advanced understanding of Excel formulae and macro building.

Report building experience using Excel, Access, Business Objects, Cognos

Project management experience desirable
