Business Accountant
Role Purpose:
The role is to be the source of all financial support and analysis for Customer Operations (COPS) and Customer Management overheads function at Britvic with a total annual revenue budget of £65m and annual capital expenditure spend of £20m. This role should have key insights and input into all the major financial decisions of the Customer Operations (COPS) and Customer Management overheads function.
Specific Areas of Role Accountability:
Management of the annual budgets and quarterly forecasting process.
KPI analysis of actual costs/variances to highlight key issues/trends and devise with COPS and Customer Management Exec mitigating actions.
Business partner COPS and Customer management towards a self serve culture around cost Management and control.
COPS Investment appraisal (ROI/payback), tracking of investment costs and post review benefits analysis.
Provide and challenge the COPS and Customer Management exec on ways of working, financial spend and efficiency.
Drive the return on investment in key D2013 accounts through additional reporting, insight and influence: Manage period commercial assets Tracker.
Manage commercial assets allocation exercise
Key financial support for the strategy/AOP Commercial assets CAPEX process.
Record, report and monitor the COPS owned fixed asset, expenditure and balance sheet, ensuring there is proper financial governance
Attendance at period COPS Customer Management exec meetings plus other key meetings
Construction of annual COPS CAPEX budget forecast, monitor performance v plan and forecast, identify opportunities for reallocation of capex to alternative COPS / GB projects providing higher returns.
Financial support for all project work in this area by monitoring performance against board approval / project business case.
Requirements
Qualifications Required:
Degree level
Fully ACA or ACCA qualified.
Experience Skills Required:
Fully qualified Accountant with some post qualified experience
Commercial awareness
Business partnering skills
