Business Analysis Manager
This role is responsible for optimizing the value created within the Channel given a market investment budget. The Manager will educate key executives about Value Based Steering (VBS) principles and how they apply, and will use these VBS principles to set goals and steer investment decisions to drive incremental value creation and return on investment.
Essential Functions:
- Perform continuous channel profitability analysis using Value Based Steering (VBS) dimensions (e.g. sales volume, margin, customer retention, total value creation, and return on investment).
- Planning and goal setting for fiscal year with quarterly and monthly updates.
- Deliver value added targets for each Channel.
- Produce Region and market-level forecasting as needed.
- Conduct joint review meetings with Channel VPs, align on priorities and summarize and monitor key actions.
- Create and share channel health index to be used for steering.
- Identify market levers for market testing.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to aid in decision making and evaluation of initiatives.
- Construct executive-level presentations and present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Demonstrate strong competency and comfort with working and analyzing large sets of data.
- Perform data mining as needed to create analysis and key insights.
- Develop reporting requirements for the Channel when launching new products, rate plans, etc.
- Support analysis on mystery shop and quality programs for Channel.
!*!Experience/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree with quantitative concentration; MBA preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in financial and operational analysis of corporate initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communications skills.
- Channel management experience and/or telecommunications experience preferred.
- A talent for multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, learning new skills and methodology.
