Business Analysis Manager recruitment

This analytical support includes Business Insight, Regular Reports, Product Strategies, Technical Campaign Support, Financial Forecasting and Data Management. The activities support decision-making processes at Senior Management level and above in the Product, Sales and Marketing function in Corporate and Institutional Banking.

Key role deliverables:

• Provision of a range of MI, statistical analysis and Business Insight, which support strategic and tactical decisions for the Commercial Cards Business.

• Use data for pro-active identification and correction of business opportunities or weaknesses, prioritised by business impact.

• Manage and develop a culture of continuous improvement that challenges existing methodologies and practices, develops new data sources and produces high quality deliverables.

• Manage development of a number of specialist analytical staff and create an environment that encourages inexperienced staff to develop themselves.

• Act as primary point of contact for one or more client areas. This includes working with internal stakeholders and the management team to prioritise work requests, pro-actively seek opportunities to provide cutting-edge analytical solutions, and to challenge where requests for work are not appropriate.

Experience:

• Highly skilled in data extraction and analysis using SQL programming and/or SAS Base programming

• A specialist knowledge and practical experience of applying specific skills to a variety of business problems (e.g. mathematical modelling and statistics or data management and systems development).

• Experience in areas of CRM activity or database analysis for marketing purposes.

• Experience of delivery of business solutions to senior management to drive business growth

• Good written, verbal and presentation skills

• Experience in dealing with multiple data sources from internal or external databases
