BUSINESS ANALYST – OTC DERIVATIVES recruitment
Core Responsibilities:
- Gathering of business requirements at all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Delivery of project documentation including requirements definitions, feasibility studies, gap analysis, operating models, process maps for ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ processes, use cases, data models etc.
- Identification of business benefits.
- Coordination of meetings, workshops etc as part of the requirements gathering process.
- Replaying requirements to stakeholders to obtain buy-in using presentations, slide packs, documents, forums etc.
- Obtaining sign off from stakeholders.
- Stakeholder management.
- Carryout out technical analysis of existing IT solutions to identify gaps in requirements .
- Working with the architecture team to identify appropriate solutions to the business requirements.
- Managing traceability of requirements through the development process.
- Recording project issues and risks.
- Reporting progress to project/task manager, stakeholders.
- Definition of business and system support models.
- Peer reviews of colleagues deliverables in order to drive up quality and ensure consistency.
- Identifying, recommending and delivering opportunities for improvement to enhance quality, efficiency and effectiveness of deliverables.
- Liaison with third party suppliers.
Core Requirements:
- Demonstrable depth of understanding of the Investment Management industry, processes and practices – particularly:
- OTC Trading process.
- OTC Central Clearing.
- OTC Collateral Management.
- Proven track record of business facing BA/consultancy roles within Investment Management.
- Senior Stakeholder management experience.
- Experienced in leading working groups, etc.
