Business Analyst (10-month Contract): Risk Process Change Management recruitment
Job Description
The Risk Process Change Management team in Singapore is looking for a Business Analyst to work on Credit Risk Methodology related projects.
The ideal candidate will meet the defined attributes for the role and display a high degree of energy, enthusiasm in analysis and logical thinking.
Job Scope includes:
- Analysing Credit Risk/ Credit Risk Methodology requirements
- Analysing existing processes and system flows
- Gathering and documenting user requirements
- Developing functional specifications
- Preparing testing strategy
- Conducting UAT and impact analysis of results
- Tracking and resolving issues
- Project Management tasks including reporting on deliverables, milestones, risks and issues
Divison/Department Overview
Risk Analytics and Reporting is a unit within the CRO Division. The function is located across all major Credit Suisse locations and is responsible for:
(1) Market and credit risk information management market risk reporting;
(2) Credit risk measurement;
(3) Independent risk model validation across all areas of CRO;
(3) Credit risk reporting;
(4) Managing development and implementation of risk systems; and
(5) Regulatory change and coordination, establishing policies covering market risk, credit risk and operational risk.
The Risk Process Change Management Team is part of the Risk Analytics and Reporting (RAR) team in CRO. The team has overall responsibility for defining and managing regional and global change across the various credit and market risk systems for CRO.
Specifically, the Risk Process Change Management team is responsible for:
- Working with CRO IT to design and implement target state risk data, process and technology architectures.
- Ensuring that CRO projects are managed in a consistent and structured manner across the various teams
- Working with other CRO teams on business and functional analysis of system and process change required to support strategic and regulatory changes
- Working with CRO IT to conduct functional testing of deliverables to ensure all requirements are accurately delivered
- Typically working as a point of contact between the line and CRO IT on a particular project, RPCM acts as a facilitator for risk management and issue resolution to enable projects to advance
- Ensuring tactical changes are appropriately balanced against strategic initiatives for the CRO line functions
- Aligning business processes and technical architecture to business needs
- Ensuring that projects are effectively prioritised across the division and resources (CRO Line, CRO IT and RCPM) are allocated accordingly
Qualifications
TO QUALIFY, YOU MUST POSSESS:
Education / Experience:
- University Graduate with good honors degree
- A degree in Finance/Accountancy is a plus but not mandatory
- 3 - 5 years relevant work experience in Financial Institutions preferred
- Business Analysis experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services with prior project management and testing experience would be advantageous.
Skills
- Good analytical skills, numerically competent

- Understand business processes, financial products, credit risk management and regulatory requirements (eg. FSA Basel II/III; FINMA)
