Business Analyst, Fixed Income Post Trade Technology
Our client, a global investment bank, are seeking a technology business analyst with strong knowledge of the Bonds and Repos space. You will be working on the realignment of business processes and creation of documentation for the post trade technology piece.
Job Description:
- Gathering requirements from the post trade users to understand existing business process flows
- Documentation of changes to be made around the middle / back office systems
- Creation of presentations and functional specifications to be presented to the user base
- Working closely with business users and other technology teams to bring together projects and requirements
- Ensuring that good practice is applied to business analysis at all times
Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of the Fixed Income Bonds and Repos market from front to back office
- Good knowledge of the downstream process flows around middle / back office trading for the Fixed Income business
- At least 5 years experience as a Business Analyst gained from working in an investment banking environment
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Martini and Omgeo are a distinct advantage
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills and experience working with a broad cross section of business users is essential.
This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the build out of systems and business processes for a bank who are investing in technology. Experience in the Asia markets is strongly preferred although candidates from other financial centres will also be considered.
