Business Analyst - Change - Compliance - Permanent - London

I am currently working with a leading bank on a requirement for an experienced Business Analyst to work within the Change Function. Within the Change team there is one workstream that is looking to transition the support of two systems into the Bank. They are looking to remove the reliance on external consultants who have owned and supported the two systems historically. This will be achieved by the transition of the knowledge, processes and change activity in to the bank (working with Technology, Operations and Change).

Main duties and responsibilities

- To support and provide Business analysis / Project Management tasks within the Programmes of work falling under the Compliance Change Portfolio.
- To support the transition of externally managed activity in to the Compliance and Change functions.
- To help implement a robust (and documented) change function - post transition of activity in to Compliance department.
- To become a SME on the activities currently undertaken by external consultant.
- To assist with any potential streamlining or improvements of current practice
- Once the activity has been transitioned in to the Bank, to become the Change lead for future adherence to Compliance.

Professional/technical experience

- Good knowledge and experience of gathering business requirements.
- Solid communication skills with ability to liaise with business and IT stakeholders at all levels of the organisation up to Executive level.
- Ability and experience of meeting change requirements and strict and changing deadlines.
- Solid communication skills - both written and oral
- Ability and experience of working under pressure - both autonomously and within a team
- Process mapping and requirements definition expertise.

If this sounds like your next opportunity apply with an up to date CV to Jennifer Smith.
