I am currently looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with experience working within the back office of an Investment Bank.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support IT project streams on a range of initiatives.
- Elicit business requirements and deliver efficient IT solutions.
- Work closely with internal clients to understand business requirements.
- Promote and advocate IT department position at business user level.
- Create and maintain documentation in line with IT standards.
- Ensure robust IT change release management process is followed.
- Provide business 3rd line support.
- Ensure IT solutions comply with internal policies, information security and internal audit requirements.
Key Competencies Qualifications
- Experience working as a Business Analyst within an IT or Finance Change department
- Strong IT competencies including change management, IT processes, functional and system analysis.
- Broad knowledge of Financial Products, trade life cycle and Finance processes.
- Familiarity and confidence with use ofT-SQL,MSExcel a must.
- Awareness of cross-asset investment banking products including Fixed Income, FX Rates, Commodities, Credit Structuring, Derivatives and Light Exotics.
- Familiarity working with trading systems such as Calypso or Murex.
