Business Analyst

The Business Analyst role provides business analysis support to the Equity, Real Estate and the Investment Services business areas. This role will encompass working on a range of concepts, proposals projects and some business as usual activities spanning the research, portfolio management and trading functions.

The successful candidate will be required to work on projects and initiatives primarily for the Equity Portfolio management and Trading business areas. The role is critical in providing business analysis to existing projects such as a new order management platform. 

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

The successful candidate would be expected to have strong business analysis skills with a proven record of project participation and delivery ideally gained within an Investment Management business.  The ability to understand technical design and assess approach to rectify any issues encountered is also extremely important.

We are ideally looking for a candidate to have been involved in similar projects from inception, and as the Business Analyst you will need to provide input into the planning stage.  The successful candidate will ideally have both a technical and business background and have strong equity product knowledge.

Given the nature of this role you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work face-to-face with senior stakeholders and therefore excellent presentation and communications skills are key.
