Business Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Analyst to work on a large scale change programme within Data Services for a leading Financial Service provider for the Investment Banking industry.
Your role will focus on the management of initiatives within Data Services, with an initial focus on projects that form part of change and efficiency programmes. You will be responsible for producing and executing project plans, writing detailed business requirements, identifying, collating and analysing data to establish and quantify problem statements. You will identify improvement opportunities through review of all operating model components, exploring alternative solutions, features and scenarios. You will work closely with the IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver an appropriate fit-for-purpose business solution design,
The successful candidate will be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong Investment Banking background, or previous experience of working within a Clearing House. A good knowledge of investment banking products and services is required such as swaps, equity settlement, energy, bonds and repo, and futures. You must have excellent analysis and problem solving abilities, a proven ability to produce test plans, scripts and execute testing is essential for this role. Excellent stakeholder management skills are key for this role.
