Business Analyst - Order and Inventory Management

The BA/Production Support Specialist role is to provide daily support to users on the new SSC system (OASIS). This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the field on a daily basis. Functions: * Take and log support calls for SSC locations on OASIS * Be the first line of support for Production Calls * Respond to How to Questions * Provide work around options for existing defects * Provide support to the Solution Analyst where needed * Maintain weekly call and issue metrics * Participate in the defect testing for each System Release Cycle * Perform other related duties as required * Test code for the SDLC with the team The successful applicant will possess the following requirements (items are required unless noted otherwise): * Experience with core software applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access * Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment * Excellent understanding of the organization's goals and objectives * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Excellent listening and interpersonal skills * Highly self-motivated and directed * Keen attention to detail * Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment * Proven data analysis and data verification abilities * Ability to absorb and retain information quickly, specifically complex technical information * Some experience with core software applications including JD Edwards, Sterling Commerce, SAP, Oracle, etc. * Experience implementing an ERP System and doing Production Support for IT after the implementation was completed * Someone with the ability to analyze and report on all of the PS Metrics including number of calls, peak call time, and breakdown of types of calls from defect and training to process or solution calls * Analysis of regions and areas having the most trouble and what kinds of calls are most prevalent there to get to the root of the problem with the development team * Supply Chain or Manufacturing organization experience will be a huge plus * System Production Support experience is preferred
