We have an immediate need for a Business Analyst
Job Description:
Positions name: Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Gather the business/user requirements through interaction and research
- Prepare a business/user requirements document
- Interface with technical architect and development team to ensure correct comprehension of all requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct requirements analysis meetings with business and technology partners
Required skills and experience:
- Rational Unified Process
- Unified Modeling Language (UML) version 2.0
- Business process decomposition and use case development, experience with process modeling tools, such as ProVision or WebSphere Business Modeler (plus)
- Experience using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles including service enabling mainframe systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Good analytical skills
- Demonstration of a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Contract length: 10 months
Location: Albany, NY
