POSITION DESCRIPTION
Business Analyst - Vendor Risk Management
Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for our Business Analyst position in our Vendor Risk Management department. This position can be located in either Salt Lake City, UT, or Houston, TX. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems, processes and user needs
- Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of business systems following appropriate standards and requirement gathering
- Formulate proposals for new systems, procedures and/ or processes
- Conduct tests or test planning sessions, provide input for feasibility and prepare user documentation and follow-up evaluation
- Act as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve problems and improve processes or systems
- Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Requires a Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
- 2+ years experience in business systems, processes and analysis or other directly related experience
- A combination of education and experience may meet requirements
- Strong Database and SQL knowledge and experience
- Sharepoint 2010, designing/developer experience
- Working knowledge of business processes and systems, programming and systems analysis procedures
- Basic knowledge of project techniques and practices
- Knowledge of department specific computer applications or other knowledge skills or abilities may apply
- Strong problem solving, analysis and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees
- Must be able to meet deadlines
