Business Analyst

Business analyst's with banking and Financial Services experience with specific experience in Client on-boarding required fro exciting new opportunity. We are looking for accomplished Business Analysts with experience in Process Mapping, Business Process improvement, documentation of Client On boarding. The purpose of this role is to provide expert business analysis of initiatives that impact client on-boarding and account opening functions in this major international bank.

This will include analysis of front, middle and Back office and operational issues, requirements gathering, developing Functional specifications, documentation, and implementation of these solutions.

Responsibilities to include :
Perform detailed business analysis, process redesign, and project planning.
Identify key project risks, whether stated or not, and manage to resolution or escalate accordingly
Develop individual project artifacts as necessary, including Project Initiation Documents (PIDs), Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements documents (FRDs), UAT planning and execution
Work with a team including Front Office, Operations, Middle Office, Technology and Controls to ensure successful project planning decisions, execution of the project, delivery into production and support thereafter

Skills required

Prior regulatory change project delivery experience
KYC (Know your client) AML (Anti Money Laundering) and Regulatory Reporting knowledge
Excellent business analysis and problem solving skills - essential
Project Management skills: ability to organise multiple parallel tasks/streams; work with minimal guidance
Ability to collaborate and come to decisions quickly
Consensus building and strong communications skills a must
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with multiple functions (Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, Compliance, Technology etc) to ensure communication, collaboration and agreement
Ability to quickly grasp and master new concepts / requirements and related product / functional knowledge
Ability to learn/understand some technical implications of system design
Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Word knowledge

Knowledge /Experience Required

Experience of Client On boarding processes
Develop and support all Client On boarding initiatives
Investment banking (general products and processes knowledge; market, reference and regulatory data)
Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
Strong working knowledge of all MS Office applications, especially MS Excel Analytical, ability to arrive any solutions that fit current or future business processes.

Considerable demonstrable experience working in a BA role, preferably within a dedicated change function.
Experience in collecting, defining and documenting business and technology requirements is essential
Experience working on projects encompassing both IT systems and business process change highly desired
