A global provider of electronic trading and risk management software to over 300 financial clients is looking to recruit a business analyst with a technical foundation and collateral management knowledge. You will be based in London and have knowledge of working with collateral management at a bank, consultancy or another software vendor in the past.
You role will be to visit clients, predominantly in London, to understand their needs surrounding their collateral management and reporting platform. You will document these requirements clearly and accurately including technical specifications and once they have received internal and client sign-off, you will communicate them to my client's offshore development team in China.
As various stages in the development lifecycles you will demonstrate the system to the client to get feedback.
My client is an established software company with over 300 clients, an award winning product suite and one of the market's most advanced collateral management and reporting system. They have grown considerable during 2012 and with a number of major on-boardings scheduled for Q2 in 2013 this growth is going to continue.
To be considered for the role of Business analyst - collateral management, software development, requirements gathering, offshore development, software vendor, technical - you must have the following:
* A background working with collateral management
* A background in business analysis
* A technical background - my client is not specific on the particular technologies but being able to communicate with developers is essential
* Extensive client facing experience
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Willingness to travel on an ad hoc basis, however most of the work will be London based
* Knowledge of the software development lifecycle

My client needs a candidate who can work autonomously, has a solid technical understanding and the ability to communicate between client teams, internal teams and offshore development teams.
