Business Analyst

Position Description:
You're empowered to do your best! Use your Sharp Analytical Skills to help us support, compile and report key information! Drive processes and technology improvement initiatives for the products, using standard project methodology (requirements, design, test, etc.). Use data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients. Engage users in analysis and evaluation of functional models and prototypes; identify dependencies and priorities. Evaluate technology applications for use by the user community. Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and ad-hoc client and operational reports relating to the development and performance of products.
Primary Responsibilities:
- SME for customer, account, reporting, program, fulfillment, and data set up in HC3. This function takes about -40% of each week in meetings, fielding email/ ST inquires (troubleshooting)
- Assign and complete ORC requests - new implementations and change requests. This can take up to 30% of a work week.
- Facets Mail application - create, generate, troubleshoot, manage and approve requests. Files run twice a month and can involve 10-15 hours/month
- Applications used: Facets, Haley, Aqua Data Studios, Cognos, PARMS reporting db, Excel, Access, Word, Visio, XML Spy, Actuate, UltraEdit, ASL, HPSM
- Train other BA's in account setup in Facets, Haley, Fulfillment, Reporting; how to trouble-shoot eligibility issues via, CRUM, ADS, etc.
- Maintain and create process documentation and job aides. Step-by-step cheat sheets for many of the applicable functions
- Role is considered to be that of a team lead, which involves work on projects with other departments and teams. Role is primary source of contact the installation team
- Role would be the SME for SecureHorizons, AARP, GE, Medica, AllOne Health

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR high school diploma/GED with at least 5 years of healthcare program administration experience; i.e. someone who possesses the ability to set up different products and programs for client accounts
- 2+ years of business analysis experience; i.e. researching and building programs for client accounts, gathering and writing business requirements, etc.
- 2+ years of reporting experience; i.e. package software, creating extract programs, etc.
- Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint; i.e. Excel - creating pivot tables, comparisons, v-lookups, h-lookups; Access - creating smaller databases, building rules for data display; PowerPoint - providing slides to a larger deck
- 1+ year of experience working with relational databases and database structures; i.e. someone who possesses knowledge of how tables are associated and how foreign keys are used
