Job Summary:
· This position provides support to the Office of the Deputy Chief Management Officer, Expeditionary Business Operations directorate analyzing the lifecycle of contracts in a contingency environment. This position will be required to understand finance, contracting and resource management capabilities.
· Full-time – 60 hours a week/ 6 days a week.
· Salary commensurate with education and experience.
· Work location is in Afghanistan.
Responsibilities:
- Employee will conduct analysis on the contract lifecycle ensuring that policies and procedures implemented by Army Central Command are being complied with.
- Employee will work with finance, contracting and resource management in order to provide analysis on the effectiveness of the current contract lifecycle and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain metrics on the compliance of Prompt Payment Act and rejection rate of contracts by Finance.
- Assist various units that are involved with the Vendor Pay process in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Will report to the theater lead for guidance.
- Will assist EBO with their initiatives in order to improve business operations for the war fighter.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science from an accredited U.S. college or university.
- 4-6 Years of work experience in DOD or Army Finance/Contracting/Resource Management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly-motivated, detail-oriented, quick learner with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to effectively work with a team.
