Job description:
Under the responsibility of the Group’s Senior Management, the Business Analyst will have to:
- Take over and improve the competition database, issuing a regular report of this database.
- Ensure the diffusion of press releases, analysis reports, and other information documents relating to key clients, business and competition
- Monitor and analyse commercial statistics
- Establish a monthly dash board of metal prices
- Ensure the quarterly monitoring of financial data of the industry’s companies
- Analyse the Group’s business KPI
- Analyse the profitability of projects, reliability of forecasts, positions in various sectors, etc.
- Carry out market research prior to commercial activities for development in new countries
- Prepare and participate in the process of business acquisitions: business plans, presentations to the Board of Directors
- Prepare the business case for major investments
- Support the Management and cost controllers on specific subjects
Based in London, regular travel to other countries is to be expected (Canada, Latin America, Brazil, Europe, Africa, Asia)
Profile :
Qualified at a higher education level (Business School masters or qualified Engineer experienced in UK/US finance and commodities), you have at least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a financial institution where knowledge of the ‘commodities’ sector would be an advantage.
This position requires excellent communication skills (written and spoken), a capacity for synthesis and working autonomously.
Considering the international environment of the work, fluency in English and French is essential; a third language (Spanish or Portuguese) would be an advantage.
