Our Client, a leading European Bank, is one of the largest banking and financial services institutions in the world with presence in more than 80 countries. They provide a comprehensive range of financial services: personal financial services; commercial banking; corporate, investment banking and markets; private banking; and other activities.
The Role
We are recruiting a person for the role of Business Analyst who has a excellent understanding of Basel 3. The role will be to work within the global program - the bank's global roll-out of a strategic local GAAP and regulatory reporting environment.
The geographical scope of the program will extend to all of the banks strategic countries across Asia, EMEA, and Americas. The project will be run out of Singapore, but will require the coordination of resources across the globe. The functional scope will cover all finance regulatory reports in each of these locations. These reports typically include balance sheet, PL, off-balance sheet, Tax, Stress testing, ALM, and any other reporting requirements that require local GAAP data.
Your Profile
The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a good degree (any subject) desirable. A Qualified accountant (any institute), Strong Basel 3 knowledge, preferably audit experience from big 4 accounting firms with extensive experience from working in a Finance line and / or a Finance project role within a financial markets / investment banking institution Strong product knowledge in banking and investment products and Strong IT skills (Excel, Access).
