Business Analyst – Business Banking – Hamilton recruitment
You help your Team secure and grow their existing customer portfolios and identify new business for Westpac. You are responsible for delivering on Westpac's customer promise, so we are the customer's first choice, every time.
You have your finger on the pulse of everything that happens across your Team's customer portfolios. You are a key part of their success - the quality of your business analysis and decision making, ability to recognise and refer sales opportunities, customer account maintenance and management, write detailed credit proposals (ensuring risk, policy and compliance requirements) are always met. Detail, doing and driving for results are your core strengths. Your colleagues know you support them. You live the Westpac values.
The following qualities and skills are essential to the role:
- Proven knowledge of financial accounts, financial analysis and accounting principles.
- Time work flow management - you plan and use time effectively, engaging the right people and resources. Diligent Account Management - call planning and reporting.
- Networking within Westpac, your Team's customers and local professionals' community is vital part of your personal toolkit.
- Excellent listening, written and oral communication skills - can demonstrate you are customer driven with outstanding customer interaction skills.
A tertiary qualification or comparable experience in Finance, Marketing, Banking, Business, Economics or Accounting is preferred.
