Description of Duties:
- Acts as liaison between the business community and the IT Business Intelligence Team
- Owns and delivers quality Business Intelligence solutions that meet or exceed NOA's set standards
- Responsible for configuring core application components related to Business Intelligence
- Troubleshoots application functionality and identifies patches / configuration changes
- Responsible for creation of specification documents
- Determines test scenarios, creates and executes test scripts
- Creates data validation methods and implements execution
- Has close interaction with the Business Customer and Developers in the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions
- Collaborates with developers to understand and resolve technical issues
- Deep commitment to protecting and securing constituent data
- Ensures work is completed in such a way to comply with established JSOX and other internal controls
Summary of Requirements
- Considered highly skilled on Oracle Business Intelligence applications
- Experience with OBIEE 10.x /11.x and OBIA 7.6.x preferred
- Significant exposure to Oracle EBS and/or ATG highly desired
- Has considerable experience working with constituents to determine analytic needs based on their business goals and translating them into Functional Specifications
- Significant experience in, and remains up-to-date with, Business Intelligence best practices, analysis methods and technology
- Intermediate to advanced SQL query development skills required
- Understands governance in Business Intelligence as well the future application roadmap and strategy for Oracle BI applications
- Industry expertise in high tech or entertainment desired
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent.
