Business Analyst - Cards and Payments Retail Banking - to £45,000 + Benefits Significant Bonus
Global Retail Bank are strategically growing their business analyst practice towards the delivery of major cards and payment projects. They require Business Analyst's with a banking track record to be instrumental in the delivery of significant projects within the bank.
Day-to-day you will be working with Senior Managers to understand and create business requirements and functional specifications. You will have experience of Core Banking Platform Implementations, Retail and Wholesale Payments, Corporate and Consumer card issuing and Merchant Acquisition.
Key Skills
Accountabilities:
?Typically leads the business to define shape the project objectives, making goals, requirements and constraints unambiguous to IT, working across the implementation of a major project
?Responsible for simple or straightforward initiatives with guidance and support, leads scoping and requirements definition on behalf of IT at Idea/Initiation/Study and owns responsibility until Implementation
?Ability for agreeing the approach to be taken to business requirements activities
?Leads activity in order to understand the business vision and resulting portfolio
?Ensures compliance with the Bank's IT architectures, books of instructions, procedures and guidelines, quality standards and all regulatory and statutory requirements
?Ability to interact with peer group across Group IT (CIO, EAD, ADM etc) to ensure effective working relationships and project handshakes
?Able to work with ambiguity to derive clear programme or project objectives and requirements
?Ability to operate and influence in a complex and diverse stakeholder environment
?Typically 3-6 years experience in Business Analysis for good performers
?ISEB or similar qualifications
