Central Risk Services (CRS) sits within IT Risk which is an IT COO Function, and provides a multitude of services to the Operational Risk Mangers within the Bank, including:
• ORF (Operational Risk Framework) related activities (Self-Certification, Heatmap etc.)
• Risk reporting
• Exception process
• Risk assessment tools
• Risk assessments to support OBI approvals
• Vulnerability management
• Metrics collection
• Standards management
• Audit facilitation
CRS Risk Services operates all services provided by CRS to the Operational Risk Managers and other stakeholders in Group Technology:
- Risk Assessment Services
- Reporting Report Engineering Services
- ORI Checking and analysis services
- Healthcheck
Role Description
CRS wants to improve and extend its capabilities in the areas of business analysis, project management, and business intelligence. The CRS Business Analyst will support the CRS Risk Services team and bring in business analysis, business intelligence, project management, and CtB project risk analysis skills required to achieve this strategic goal. The CRS Business Analyst will also take over service ownership for some of the services provided by the Poland Service Center for CRS Risk Services.
In this role, the CRS Business Analyst is required to work with IT Risk and IT streams. The candidate must be able to correlate data from different sources, understand business requirements, and be able to identify patterns, trends, and conclusions gained from the analyzed data. The CRS Business Analyst will also support senior IT Risk management by creating reports, presentations, supporting collaboration and communication.
Also, the CRS Business Analyst will take over service ownership for the PSC Risk Assessment team, which is required to work with business and IT streams to assess the IT choices they have made and are available to them, and determine the risks presented to the business and the bank.
Specifically, the role consists in the following tasks and responsibilities:
- About 25%:
- Support for and creation of management reports presentations
- Creation maintenance of org charts
- Planning, coordination, action tracking of internal management reviews, including periodic reviews of large CtB projects (benefits analysis, risk management etc.)
- Support for management team meetings and collaboration tools
- Documentation of internal processes and procedures (e.g. absence management and other regulations)
- Coordination and support of internal communications
- About 25%:
- Service ownership for the IT Risk Assessment Team at the Poland Service Center
- About 50%:
- Analysis and business intelligence based on data produced from the risk processes (ORI, ORA, Healthcheck, ServiceNow, Action Plan Tracking Tools etc.)
- Correlation of data, identification or pattern and issues
- Summarizing findings, conclusions, and recommendations in senior management compatible presentations and reports
- Translating the findings into requirements so that they can be used by the PSC Reporting Engineering team to increase and adapt their reporting service capabilities
Key experience requirements
As the ideal candidate you have experience in the IT Banking sector with a good understanding of IT Risk, IT Compliance or IT Audit.
You also have solid experience in business analysis based on tools like Excel and other.
Knowledge of Database schemas and business object tools / reporting concepts as well as the SAS toolset is preferred, but not essential.
As the ideal candidate you are also able to manage a remote service, and it is important to be able to present findings in a form that is geared to senior management.
Key skills requirements
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
