Business Analyst-CFO Change Management

 

Role and Responsibilities -

·         Serve as a liaison with managers of line functions to identify, define and accurately document business requirements following CS best practice

·         Use Business Analysis tools and techniques to capture and clearly articulate the as-is business processes, identify problems and inefficiencies and define business requirements for process improvements

·         Be familiar with all BA project standards and templates, and contribute to following and improving CS business analysis capability

·         Manage requirements and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that requirements are delivered as specified, and change impact assessments can be made

·         Document as-is business processes, identify key issues and define target business processes that deliver the optimal solution following CS standards

·         Communicates clearly with all stakeholders and demonstrates an understanding of business processes and related issues. Develops multiple solutions options and can convey the merits and issues of each to ensure clear understanding of impact across the organization

·         Manage test preparation and execution of functional testing for medium scale projects and support User Acceptance Test

·         Take responsibility for the accurate and unambiguous documentation of Test Conditions that must be satisfied for a project to go live

·         Translate test conditions into a set of test cases and define test data requirements for the tests to be successful

·         Ensure compliance with the UAT methodology for accurate and timely preparation and execution of testing

·         Ensure compliance with established guidelines for accurate and timely project delivery milestones

·         Ensure compliance with use of test management tools e.g. Quality Centre for requirements and test management

·         Design and document business process / functional training for test team and users

·         Identify, escalate and manage risks and issues as appropriate to senior management

 

Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and competencies:

·         Minimum 7 years of Experience as a Business Analyst with exposure to functional testing and UAT

·         Strong analytical skills. Able to call upon a wide range of BA skills such as Business Process Modeling (as-is and to-be models), paint poin analysis, cost benefit analysis, user stories, system interaction diagrams target operating models

·         Familiarity with Internal and External BA tools, techniques and documentation formats

·         Strong communicator (Writing, listening playing back, presenting)

·         Ability to use quantitative and analytical problem solving skills to break down complex problems and frame them into simple terms

·         Strong attention to detail

·         A team player

·         Proactive in supporting clients professionally and courteously and managing workload

·         Ability to take ownership of tasks and issues and seeing them through to completion within allotted timeframes

·         Ability to become familiar with multiple IT systems.

·         Investment Banking product knowledge essential.

·         Familiarity with a variety of software delivery methodologies essential i.e. waterfall, RUP and agile

·         Experience in handling Project Life cycle.

·         Experience in working in Global Organisation.

·         Understanding of Finance processes or knowledge of upstream Front Office Middle Office Operations processes

·         Desktop applications skills such as MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project, MS Viso an advantage
