Business Analyst Client Change recruitment
An exciting opportunity is available for a Business Analyst to provide both analysis and delivery expertise for Client Changes, small internal changes and small projects. Reporting to the Head of Client Change, this role is responsible for a number of changes and small projects, mostly with deliveries to our clients. A Client Change Team Business Analyst is required to work on a number of projects at any particular time and co-ordinate deliveries from other teams. The position will require strong analytical skills, good organisational skills and strong communication.
Projects which the AFS Engineering Department are involved in include new service offerings, new products, package implementations, enhancements to existing services and Compliance Regulatory Projects. The Client Change Team provides changes for UK clients and on behalf of overseas offices including Singapore and KOP.
Key Responsibilities
• Responsible for the analysis and delivery of Client Change and minor enhancements to the timescales and quality defined in the team documentation
• Use business and application knowledge to prepare both business and functional requirements specifications, and assist in shaping the technical design of solutions
• Initial analysis of change and production documentation
• Production of project plan for change delivery. Subsequent maintenance of this plan
• Testing of changes, co-ordination of UAT and Client UAT
• Completion of all necessary processes and documentation to promote applications and procedures to production environment , including training and support handover
• Regular communication of change to all areas impacted by change
• All change and documentation to be delivered in accordance with documented change control process (modified CMMi process)
• Regular reporting of change status to PMO change co-ordinator
• Regular communication to change requestor
• Responsible for budget reporting, working within assigned budget and reporting potential budget overruns well before they occur
• Management of own workload which is likely to contain a number of changes at any particular time
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent. Possessing strong business analysis skills coupled with a track record of change delivery in a client facing role, you will have strong negotiating and communication skills. Knowledge of the development lifecycle is essential.
It would be desirable if you have had experience of HiPortfolio, TradeFlow, MS Project, CA Clarity, Visio, Quality Centre and knowledge of the trade lifecycle and fund accounting.
