Business Analyst- Client Data Space recruitment
ROLE SUMMARY:
Design and Development of the Client Data Model. Includes Business Object Model development, Logical Data Model development, Data attribute definition and related source to target mapping against the source system
Responsible for business analysis, all areas of data architecture and providing strategic guidance for data technology.
Actively participate contribute in the review sessions with Business, Operations and IT audiences
This role is within the IB Reference Data Program under Architecture
THE ROLE INVOLVES:
• Significant Business Analysis experience with a leading consulting firm within financial services or in an international investment bank or similar institution
• Experience in delivering major adoption/migration projects in an investment bank or similar institution
• Strong knowledge of investment banking business processes – front to back
• Ease in dealing with senior stakeholders
• Solid knowledge of IT, including experience of working on IT-oriented projects, user requirements development, and testing. Good understanding of IT oriented methods and approaches
• Adept at Business Analysis methodologies and data modelling
• Excellent relationship and interpersonal skills
• Good knowledge of standard office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Word and Excel)
• Knowledge of Client Reference Data front to back
• Knowledge of the banking regulatory environment is desirable.
Tasks included:
Building the Logical Data Model
Source data analysis, source to target data mapping, defining business rules for conversion
Preparing Flow diagrams, use/test cases, data dictionaries.
Record data quality issues in the issue log and work with the governance, business and IT SMEs to resolve them
Working with the business process architect, Project managers, Business IT SMEs/BAs to define the target model and ensure that that the business requirements and principles are met
Working within the Data Architecture team to ensure that the data model complies with the standards and all data modeling artifacts are prepared accurately in a timely fashion

• Experience working with Data modellers
Managerial Experience
Experience in working with cross border Business and BA teams
Project Experience
Experience in Reference data Programs specifically in the Client/Customer space
Experience in Data analysis and creating/reviewing business data dictionaries
Experience in using tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Visio etc.
