BUSINESS ANALYST, Commercial Mortgages

  

We are currently looking to hire a Business Analyst for a permanent position in our Regina office.  As a member of the Commercial Mortgages Administration Team, and under the supervision of the Commercial Mortgages Supervisor, you will work on a variety of tasks, and more specifically you will:

·         Complete and validate mortgage downloads, tax schedules, notes to financial statements, and any other related reporting duties for Clients, Governmental Agencies and auditors;

·         Calculate returns to be distributed for internal and external reporting purposes;

·         Prepare, validate and upload monthly Oracle extracts;

·         Develop all required mortgage administration reports through the appropriate report writer as well as maintain existing reports;

·         Test and implement mortgage system upgrades and supporting software;

·         Liaise with mortgage systems providers and Co-op Life providers and support;

·         Ensure that nightly processing, data backups and daily maintenance of the mortgage system and databases are performed;

·         Act as the main resource for various software/hardware requirements and concerns.

 

 

Requirements :

·         Bachelor in business, commerce or in computer science, with 5 years of relevant experience preferably in business, investment or accounting.  A combination of education and related experience could be considered;

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Crystal Report with the ability to perform basic programming;

·         Knowledge of Oracle and Sequel is an asset

·         Excellent time management and organizational skills

·         Able to synthesize various information, very good analytical and problem-solving skills;

·         Preference in working in a team environment;

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

·         Bilingualism will be an asset;

·         Client focus, able to show initiative and results oriented.
