Business Analyst – Commodities Trading – West End recruitment
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years experience in Business or Systems Analysis and will work either on
trade capture for physical commodity transactions, or commodity derivatives and s/he will be responsible for:
- Primary responsibility for the delivery of requirements for a business domain within trading business
- Act as the requirements authority - the source of truth - for the technical team when clarification of the business process is required
- Responsibility for articulating to the business how the software solution meets the business needs
- Assist in the production of migration plans to enable the business to adopt the new software
You will be required to be a domain expert in at least one of the following broad areas:
- trade capture for physical commodity transactions, or commodity derivatives
- confirmation management, including term sheet and confirmation/contract production
- commodity scheduling/logistics
- pricing and risk, including real time valuation
- back office trade processing, including invoicing, payments and accounting
- trade securitisation, treasury/firm liquidity and collateral management
