Business Analyst (Corporate Development & Strategy)
This will include but by no means be limited to the following:
Helping to rebuild the business model (in Excel) to reflect recent rapid expansion of business and changing requirements. Thereafter working to redesign the 5 year business plan
Produce analysis for functions across the business but involving direct interaction with senior executives
Constructing business plans for acquisitions, new developments and improvement projects
Sourcing and executing acquisitions with a typical transaction being £5 - 50m in size (3-4 per year)
Other company strategy projects as applicable
The ideal individual will have:
3-5 years experience in a transaction based environment
Ideally a further qualification such as an ACA or CA
Have worked on a transaction from start to finish
Be comfortable with Excel modelling:
Are you comfortable, without guidance, using Index, Match, Indirect, Offset and Array functions?
Do you have a track record of experience of building models using the above functions?
Are you able to build a fully integrated business model from scratch including cash flow, balance sheet and P+L?
Would you be comfortable putting together an opening balance sheet following an acquisition?
