Business Analyst – Credit recruitment
Leading one of the work streams within the IB Ops FICC change program you will be responsible for overall delivery of the work stream. You will be required to deliver in multiple regions and in different functions of the business. Specifically;
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with business, IT and logistics partners.
• In partnership with the business and IT define overall strategy for the work stream ensuring consistency with the overall business strategy and operational design principals.
• Define and document the core principals operations require reflected in application and / or process design.
• Maintain effective communication of program strategy and execution status to operations, business and IT management.
• Ensure operations core principals are reflected in both design and in processes and application that are delivered.
• Ensure synergies between programs are identified and leveraged.
In order to be successful your CV will illustrate:
- Existing technical competencies from a Trade Support / Middle Office environment – OTC Cash Trade Capture/Processing, PnL, Risk, Curve marking, Collateral Valuations are all key.
- Strong Derivatives product knowledge preferable gained though working in an operations environment.
- Knowledge of end to end operational processes preferable with detailed knowledge and experience in one or more operations competency (confirmations, trade capture, PL etc)
- Strong business analysis skills. Strong subject matter experts without a formal BA skill set will be considered.
- Knowledge of structured analysis and, ideally, process re-design method
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that you can tailor to a broad range of audience seniorities with confidence.
- Excellent team working and client relationship skills (not necessarily external clients)
