Business Analyst- Dodd Frank Compliance
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the asset management arm of a global financial institution for an experienced Business Analyst/ Subject Matter Expert within their regulatory reform programme. You will be responsible for ensuring the bank addresses its regulatory obligations, in relation to Dodd Frank.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the assessment of the banks commercial vulnerability to the Volcker rule and readiness options.
- Develop compliance road maps across business groups.
- Roll out and support on-going client identification procedures.
- Oversight and commentary of new operating model.
- Validate and complete gap analysis of existing versus target compliance requirements to conform to Volcker
- Review any additional Investment Adviser Act 1942 Requirements (IAAR)
- Work with the compliance programme to ensure the organisation understands and meets its regulatory deadlines
- Prepare training materials to enable Compliance to maintain conformance with regulations
- Work closely with other project team members, Stakeholders and BAU teams
- Develop a view of other inter-connected regulations (e.g. AIFMD, EMIR, MiFID II)
- Offer Compliance oversight on legal counsel commentary
Key Skills
- Experience working on Regulatory projects, specifically Dodd Frank is essential.
- The successful candidate is expected to have Compliance experience within Fund Services (Administration, Custody, Trustee, Fund Services, Asset Management firms)
- Strong experience working as a Business Analyst within Financial Services.
