Description
As a Business Analyst ERP (Finance, Supply Chain, Sourcing) you will join the existing ERP IS Team. Your focus will be the liaison between end-users and IT, to understand, challenge and clarify the business needs. You will be responsible for the end to end functional design: produce business requirements and functional specifications to support IT in the development/configuration of the appropriate solutions/systems.
As a Business Analyst ERP,
- You listen to the users
You analyze and challenge the business objectives and needs.
You facilitate meetings and work sessions to gather requirements.
You translate the needs into business process views, business requirements, data models, etc, taken into account the software capabilities and overall business architecture guidelines.
- You propose and validate the optimal IT solution
You analyze the processes and the requirements. You explore potential solutions, by discussing with your colleague system analysts and IT architects.
You identify the optimal solution, combining business objectives and technical feasibility (time, budget, quality).
You discuss and validate your solution with the business stakeholders.
- You make it happen
You define the test approach, together with end users. You create or facilitate the creation of the acceptance test book.
You assist the end-users on the steps to apply the necessary business changes.
You are responsible for documenting the overall solution and the associated processes and working methods, from an IT solution perspective.
On some projects, you take up the overall project coordination and delivery responsibility.
Your profile
Expertise, Knowledge Skills
- University degree or equivalent through experience
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience in ERP Information Systems (such as Oracle eBusiness or other), or in related business domains (Supply Chain, Finance, Sourcing): experience in business requirements capture, requirements and solution modeling, process modeling, requirements and test documentation.
- Developed analytical skills
- Planning and organization skills
- Communication and listening skills
- Fluent in French or Dutch, and English. Combining all three languages is considered an extra asset.
Considered to be an asset:
- Project Management skills and knowledge of project management tools and techniques
- Persuasiveness, influencing skills (capacity to challenge and convince)
- Presentation skills
