Business Analyst – Finance recruitment

The key accountabilities for this role are;
• To collaborate with Business Managers to define change initiative and document business requirements
• To understand and identify impact of a project on business function (users, business processes and systems)
• To define and produce appropriate test strategies and plans. Assist in or coordinate execution of UAT
• Provide input and review of all project documentation relevant to business function
• To represent business function at project workshops, meetings, Boards
• To manage and be a central point of contact for change initiatives impacting business function
• To produce a robust business case to secure business funding

The candidate should ideally be a fully qualified accountant and/ or come from an accounting background with experience of investment accounting systems. Business Analysis experience is essential within an Asset manager, Life Assurance or Third Party Administrator. Strong analytical skills combined with broad excel skills and IT skills are highly important. Good understanding of process modelling tools, project methods and tools and excellent communication skills are essential.
